The La Giuva winery is located in the hills north of Verona, a few kilometres from Lessinia Park. The area is part of the Valpolicella denomination of origin territory, at an altitude of about 400 metres above sea level, where the hills were home to old vineyards in a setting of abundant biodiversity, seen in the combination of vines, olive trees, fruit trees, meadows and woods.

La Giuva wines are an expression of the territory of Trezzolano, a small settlement in the upper Squaranto valley, characterised by a hilly, calcareous and well-ventilated terrain.

Native grape varieties grow here: Corvina with medium-sized bunches and characteristic lobes (the famous "recie"), Corvinone with sparse bunches and large berries, Rondinella with round berries of a bluish-black colour, and Oseleta, characterised by small bunches with an intense structure and colour.

At La Giuva, we try to remain faithful to what the land gives us.
Our desire is to bring out the character of our grapes in every glass, with full respect for the identity of high-altitude wines.
